SCHOLARSHIPS !
Offering LPN & RN scholarships is a dream come true that Nancy Diller-Shively is very happy to share with you. Four scholarships of $1000 each are offered each year.
The year 2008 will be our eighth year to offer such scholarships, and the process/requirements for applying and consideration are these:

  1. You are currently a home health aide/nurse's aide or LPN who has worked for 2 of the past 3 years in that position.
  2. You plan to enroll in LPN or RN school for the upcoming Fall 2008 school year or in the year 2009 and are not now currently in LPN or RN school.
  3. You provide two written positive recommendations from current and/or past employers.
  4. You submit an essay on why you want to be an LPN or RN.
  5. You submit a completed application packet by 5/15/2008 to us at : Bridgeport Home Health Care, 1250 Tamiami Trail N Suite 305 Naples, FL 34109.
Two scholarships of $1000 each are available to be awarded in the following manner: two scholarships to current employees of Bridgeport Home Health Care and two scholarships to non-Bridgeport employees who are residents in the counties our offices serve (Charlotte, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee, and Sarasota). The scholarships are non-renewable (for one school year only).

The selection of recipients will be made by the management team of Bridgeport Home Health Care and is to be based on merit, positive work history, the essay, and timely completion of all parts of the application process. Recipients will be notified in July of 2008.
