Nancy Diller-Shively was honored as one of thirteen women to receive recognition as 'Extraordinary Women' by the Akron Beacon Journal and Ohio.com in June 2005.

Rainmaker Award, 2005

Nancy Diller-Shively was selected as a 2005 Rainmaker by Northern Ohio Live magazine. Criteria for the Rainmaker honor include leadership, mentoring, positive role modeling, the ability to drive dollars into their organization and service expansion. The award was presented in November 2005.

Alumni Achievement Award, 2004

The Coventry High School Alumni Association honored Nancy Diller-Shively for her achievements.


Governor's Award for Women's Excellence in Enterprise 2003

Ohio Governor Bob Taft recognized six Ohio woman owned companies for their outstanding acheivements in the business community. Nancy Diller-Shively, Founder of Bridgeport Home Health and Past President of Cambridge Home Health Care, received the award in this category.

Malone College Management Program Alumna of the Year, 2002

The Alumni Association Executive Board of Malone College named Nancy Diller-Shively as MCMP Alumna of the Year in 2002.

The NEO Success Award, sponsored by Inside Business Magazine, recognizes top-performing companies in the 18 counties of Northeast Ohio. Winners are determined through a two-year growth formula that accounts for revenue growth, employee growth and profitability, with winners showing sustained success growing their companies through increased sales and impacting their communities by supplying more jobs.

Akron Business Woman of the Year, 2001

Nancy Diller-Shively was honored with the Akron Business Woman of the Year, presented by Inside Business magazine at a luncheon held at the Holiday Inn in Independence on September 20, 2001. The award honors women who have made important contributions to Northeast Ohio business.

YWCA's 100 Outstanding Women in Summit County, 2001

Nancy Diller-Shively was honored on October 12, 2001 for being selected as one of 100 Outstanding Women in Summit County as part of the YWCA's 100th anniversary celebration. Women honored were selected for exemplifying the mission of the YWCA-empowering women and eliminating racism.

Business Growth Award, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007. 2008 and 2009

The Business Growth Award was presented by Cascade Capital Corporation and honors companies in Summit, Medina, Stark, Portage, Wayne, Ashland and Holmes Counties that have experienced significant sales and employment growth.

The Dorothy Royce Award

At the Ohio Council for Home Care in Columbus on September 22, 1999, Nancy Diller-Shively was presented the Dorothy Royce Award. Dorothy Royce was the founding president of the Ohio Council for Home Care and worked to promote home care in the State of Ohio. The award honors an individual for his or her efforts to promote home care.

President & CEO

Recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award is Nancy Diller-Shively. The Entrepreneur of the Year award, established in 1988, is for business leadership. To be eligible to receive the award, the nominee must be an owner/manager who is primarily responsible for the recent performance of the company and an active member of top management. Selection was made by a panel of six judges in six areas: entrepreneurial background, skills, experience and major accomplishments; type of business and significant obstacles overcome; innovative approaches; future plans; management team; and how the culture created by the entrepreneur in the work environment respects, recognizes and rewards employees.

Nancy Diller-Shively was selected to participate in the Leadership Akron program and was a member of the Class of 1997.

Top 10 Women Business Owners of Northeast Ohio

Sponsored by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), this award selection process evaluated nominees in four areas: excellence as a woman business owner; initiative and creativity in meeting challenges in her business; professional accomplishments and contributions; and civic and community involvement and contributions. The award was presented to Nancy Diller-Shively in May 2001.

North Coast 99 Award, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003

The North Coast 99 Award annually names 99 of the best companies to work for in Northeast Ohio. The award is presented by the Employers Resource Council, and recognizes companies which have made outstanding and innovative efforts in the human resources areas of attracting, retaining and motivating excellent employees.

The Weatherhead 100 Award, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2009

The Weatherhead 100 program honors the fastest and most consistently growing companies in Northeast Ohio. The annual list is compiled by the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

The Family Business Hall of Fame Award recognizes successful, family-controlled corporations with selection based on the following criteria: the family must have controlling interest in the company; at least two family members are active in the company as shareholders, board members and/or owner-managers; and the business must be headquartered in Ohio and employ more than ten people.

The Women of Distinction's Professional Achievement Award

On September 28, 1999, the Western Reserve Girl Scout Council presented Diller-Shively with the Women of Distinction's Professional Achievement Award which recognizes accomplishments achieved within the person's profession.
